Transportation Options
Walking School Bus
Bliss Belly Staff will walk students from BAM to BBK at both dismissal times.
Bike Bus
BBK Staff accompany students on their own bikes from their school site to Bliss Belly.
Bike Shuttle
BBK Staff transports students in a cargo bike built for child transport.
At Bliss Belly Kitchen after school programming kids will practice breathing and yoga, spend time in nature at Live Oak Park, make a healthy snack, and get time to do homework and quiet reading.
Our site in North Berkeley is just next to Live Oak Park, where children can connect with nature while enjoying playtime and snacks.

Monday/Tuesday/Wednesday/Thursday (4 days a week)

*Preference will be given to families who enroll in the 5 day option.

2:15 - 3:15PM: Drop off from various sites, Snack break, Nature time, Free play
3:30 - 4:15PM: Daily culinary lesson
4:15 - 5PM: Daily yoga and mindfulness lesson
5 - 5:30PM Picnic in the park

Bliss Belly kitchen offers eco-conscious and soul conscious cooking classes utilizing farm fresh ingredients, yoga, and mindfulness to give children the best possible connection to themselves and to the land and source where their food comes from.
Learn to make simple, delicious, and nutritious meals. We use healthy locally sourced organic ingredients to teach children about the basic fundamentals of healthy cooking and eating. Participants learn to source, cook, and eat delicious recipes.
Whether itβs packing a lunch, making a snack, or helping to prepare a family meal, these students will be prepared to support busy family life challenges with a new found knowledge and empowerment around cooking and good food!
